Description
HART’s RoadTech 3 – Handling Dynamics is an introduction to advanced rider training and concentrates on developing technique, while travelling at realistic road speeds on our private road circuit.
The course builds on your existing riding experience and focuses on the four fundamental pillars of motorcycling:
- Posture
- Throttle Control
- Cornering
- Braking
Throughout the course, you’ll be coached in the following skills:
- Adopting correct posture when accelerating, braking, cruising and cornering
- Counter-steering for smooth, accurate changes of direction
- Revving on the down-change for fast, smooth gear changes
- Braking from a point (quick stops)
- Riding curves using the Three P’s – Preparation, Posture and Pathway
- You will also receive coaching on slow-speed riding techniques.
RoadTech 3 – Handling Dynamics starts with a bike safety check, followed by an introduction to advanced riding posture. Moving on to riding some sighting laps to get you familiar with our lower circuit. We will then systematically work through a series of activities specifically designed to improve your motorcycle handling skills, such as counter-steering, braking and corner approach and pathway.
This half day course is designed to improve your confidence and concentrate on practical riding skills that you can apply to everyday riding, whether you are a commuter, or spend your spare time searching for the best ‘twisties’.
